Being a SpaceTech Senior Thermal Test Engineer, you analyse and iterate test requirements, negotiate test conditions and lead a team of thermal test engineers.

Your tasks

• Analyse and iterate test requirements and negotiate test conditions with internal and external stakeholders;
• Support proposal teams in test cost predictions;
• Analyse and define test setups;
• Participate in internal and customer meetings;
• Lead a team of thermal test engineers;
• Test scheduling and resource allocation;
• Ensure fulfillment of quality standards and test requirements;
• Initiate and lead troubleshooting process in case of unplanned deviations, define corrective and preventive actions and report status.

Your skills and experience

• Master degree in engineering, physics or related field;
• At least 5 years working experience in thermal engineering required, preferably in space business;
• Experience with thermal test planning and execution required;
• Experience with thermal analysis is a plus;
• Knowledge of ECSS is a plus;
• Experience in systems engineering or project management is a plus;
• Good report writing skills;
• Good English language skills required, German language skills is a plus.
