Job Description:

Skydweller is looking for a talented Program Manager capable to lead and support a strong team of engineering professionals executing cutting-edge programs.

This individual will ensure the business executes flawlessly on customer commitments, from product development through manufacturing of commercial and military unmanned aircraft. This includes the full life cycle management (development, production, and sustainment) of programs. The focus includes, but is not limited to planning, development, engineering testing, product quality, production, cost, scheduling, performance, special project requirements, customer product requirements, and operations/fulfillment issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of governance structures and methodology;
• Develop WBS, OBS, and CBS;
• Develop schedules and manage deviations from baselines;
• Manage objectives, deliverables, and associated timescales; measure recovery progress;
• Evaluate and prioritize outstanding/upcoming activities according to project needs;
• Provide Program Management expertise in structuring the necessary work, estimating the efforts, and assigning project resources;
• Identify Program risks and issues, investigate their root causes, and develop mitigation plans;
• Manage Program Risk and Opportunities, the related mitigations plans, and their execution;
• Coordinate activities between different workstreams, departments, and organizations;
• Document, organize and communicate project status and progress by means of reporting, tracking tools, and other metrics;
• Extract and validate relevant and intelligent data from multiple sources in an organization for consolidation, recommendations, conclusions, and presentations;
• Drumbeat project progress in recurring meetings with cross-functional participation and ensure understanding of required activities and their priorities.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field;
• Minimum of 8 years;
• 5+ years of program management experience.

Skills:

• Leadership: showing people how they can achieve their own objectives by aligning themselves to the project’s objectives;
• Identify efficient communication channels with the program stakeholders, keep cultural differences in perspective and communicate information on a regular basis;
• Strong capability to work well in a team-based environment and promote teamwork;
• Robust negotiation ability;
• High motivation with good organizational and analytical/technical problem-solving skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Prioritization and goal setting: identify program priorities and determine the correspondent goal flow down at team level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Program Management Certification;
• Jira/Confluence Experience;
• Agile experience.
