In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the mission in developing and researching defense systems, from the preliminary phase to industrialization.

Tasks to be performed:

• Mechanical design and creation of manufacturing drawings
• Bill of materials (BOM) and checklist oversight
• Selection of commercial components
• Development of design documentation
• Supervision of manufacturing, assembly and commissioning
• Creation of test plans, assistance and supervision of system tests

Required skills, experience and candidate profile:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Aeronautics or similar.
• Master's degree in mechanics, robotics, materials or similar is valuable.
• 2-3 years of experience.
• Solidworks or other similar CAD programs.
• Knowledge of Composite Materials.
• Design of flight parts.
• Knowledge of electronics and use of equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. will be valued.
• Knowledge of project management will be valued.
• Knowledge of the defense sector and defense regulations for design and testing MIL-STD, STANAG will be valued.
• Prior experience in the defence sector is desirable.
• Advanced english (B2).
