Eletronics/Instrumentation Engineer

Currently working in propulsion systems and components for satellites and launchers, we are looking to fill a position for a Junior Engineer with focus on the areas of Electronics and Instrumentation.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Participate in the design and development of electronic measurement, actuation and control subsystems for experimental vehicles, test facilities and ground support equipment.
- Establish technical and product assurance documentation for developed subsystems.
- Participate in integration and test campaigns.
- Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide specialist technical contributions to high-level design and requirements definition processes.
Mandatory requirements:
- Degree in Electrical and electronics engineering, aerospace engineering or other relevant area of study.
- Solid knowledge of the principles of instrumentation, control and actuation.
- Solid knowledge in signal analysis (filtering, post-processing, etc…).
- Solid knowledge of programming and software development (C++, Python, embedded real-time systems).
- Academic or professional experience with laboratory instrumentation.
- Academic or professional electronic hardware assembly and testing in laboratory environment.
- Fluent use of English language, spoken and written.
Preferential:
- Academic or professional experience with digital communication and/or telemetry.
- Academic or professional experience with radio-frequency communication (coding/decoding messages).
- Academic or professional experience in programming of controllers (PLCs and/or microcontrollers).
- Academic or professional experience with rocket, aircraft or automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Academic or professional experience with dynamic simulation and control theory.
- Solid knowledge and experience in LabVIEW and/or Matlab/Simulink.
- Independent in your work and able to organize your tasks.
- Problem-solving oriented attitude.
