ENPULSION is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer, responsible for managing customer quality topics throughout the product development life-cycle of our electric propulsion systems. The role will be the key interface between our customers and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformances and alignment with technical and quality standards. This includes driving continuous improvement by incorporating customer feedback and supporting product assurance at every development milestone.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication related to product quality.
  • Identify and manage quality-related risks throughout the development process.
  • Monitor and control product requirements to ensure alignment with customer and internal standards.
  • Support and coordinate test campaigns during product development phases.
  • Investigate, manage, and resolve customer-reported non-conformances (NCs) related to product quality.
  • Apply established quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5Why, Pareto, etc.) to support effective problem-solving.
  • Review and approve quality-related documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Design, implement, and monitor quality training programs to strengthen awareness among customer-facing teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct independent quality audits during product development phases.
  • Manage and maintain all quality-relevant documentation in line with internal procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver clear and well-structured technical documentation.
  • Ensure structured feedback from customers is captured and integrated into continuous improvement processes.

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Aerospace or related industry with an appropriate technical or scientific education (FH/University or HTL – preferably master’s in engineering, Physics or Mechanical Engineering).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in product quality roles.
  • Proven experience applying quality management tools (FMEA, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa,..).
  • Familiarity with electric propulsion systems for satellite applications is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with ECSS quality standards is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of basic electronics design and functionality.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Willingness and ability to share ideas, offer critical feedback, and contribute to team discussions.
  • Independent, proactive, well-organized, and self-motivated working style.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a fast-paced, growing space technology company.
