Mechanics Production Engineer

Your mission
As a Mechanical Production Engineer, you will play a key role in the production of SATLANTIS’ optical payloads. Your work will ensure that mechanical components and structures are manufactured, assembled, and delivered to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and precision.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead and monitor mechanical production processes, including structure assembly, preparation of materials, and ensuring process traceability.
- Contribute to the industrialization and optimization of mechanical production workflows, applying lean techniques and advanced manufacturing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, tolerances, and technical requirements (such as ECSS), documenting results and corrective actions.
- Coordinate the scheduling and execution of production activities, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and close collaboration with other departments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams - participating in design reviews, stock control, and internal audits - to ensure smooth production and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain updated technical documentation, work instructions, and production reports, including process procedures, plans, and non-conformities.
What will set you up for success
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical production or manufacturing engineering in an industrial environment; experience in aerospace, defense, or similarly rigorous industries will be especially valuable.
- Clear and effective communication skills to ensure alignment and shared understanding across teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Fluent command of English, both spoken and written, enabling collaboration in international contexts.
