What You ‘ll Be Doing

• Analysis of a communication system with a focus on tactical communication systems, mostly wireless (land, naval, air), 5G and satellite systems, supporting both voice and data services.
• Physical and Functional architecture and design.
• Coordination of design, development (prototyping), integration and testing/verification activities over the complete communication system lifecycle.
• Requirements management.
• Preparation of design/test documentation & technical drawings.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• 5-year Diploma/Integrated Master in Electrical & Computer Engineering (with Major in Communications preferably) or University Degree with a MSc in Communications or Networking/Data Communications.
• Knowledge and experience with various wired and wireless communication systems, protocols & interfaces, cybersecurity issues & policies.
• At least three years’ experience in systems engineering (e.g. system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements).

Desired:

• Experience in design, development, integration, testing and verification of communication systems.
• Experience with analytical and simulation tools, e.g. MATLAB, Simulink.
• Experience using MBSE tools to model complex systems and processes using SysML, UML, e.g. Enterprise Architect and tools for requirements management (e.g. DOORS).
