Your Tasks

  • Manage the Flight Physics Team from technical, schedule, resource and cost perspectives
  • Contribute to defining the development strategy for Pilatus products in close collaboration with the director of the New Projects Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Lead, coordinate and monitor all multidisciplinary and multiplatform team activities, reporting progress and performance to the director of the New Projects IPT
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and budgets while meeting all technical objectives and quality standards
  • Plan, estimate costs and allocate staff for all team projects in alignment with the New Projects IPT's budget and goals
  • Manage team resources and personnel development to ensure optimal performance and technical capability growth within the flight physics team

With this you convince us

  • Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in aircraft design and development, especially from a Flight Physics perspective
  • Broad aviation background including exposure to airframe design and/or systems integration, and solid Flight Physics knowledge (aerodynamics, performance, weight & balance, handling qualities, mechanics of flight, loads and aeroelastics)
  • Strong understanding of certification regulations (FAR/CS-23 or alternatively FAR/CS-25)
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a large specialists' team (15–20 FTEs), with high integrity, innovation mindset, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
  • Highly self-driven and structured, able to work independently, prioritize effectively and adapt strategies in dynamic environments with strong commitment and proactivity
  • Excellent communication, strong teamwork and people management skills, acting as a role model and team builder who empowers others and ensures efficient, high-integrity project execution
