YOUR MISSION
Your mission at Sateliot Mission Control Center will be to operate satellites in LEO orbit working as a Payload, ACDS, EPS, Thermal, Thruster, TM&TC subsystem engineer. The mission includes the operation of Key Technology Enablers for the 3GPP 5G Rel 17 NTN service implemented by Sateliot.
Activities will include support at all mission phases including the commercial operation and routine operation at L1 with the support of the satellite and Payload manufacturer.
YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Monitoring and control of the satellites to ensure smooth constellation operations. Note: This role requires participation in a 24/7 shift pattern and on-call support by means of a 24/7 shift pattern and on-call support for Spacecraft Operators
- Execution of the platform and payload activities based on the requirements of commercial operations.
- Execute the emergency procedures to ensure spacecraft safety and the continuity of service provision to users. Support the Space and Ground Segment anomaly investigation and resolution.
- Prepare, validate and maintain the Operations Procedures and other operations documentation, as well as the mission specific tools, operations databases and products needed for the operations, based on documentation and lessons learned.
- Participate in the commissioning of all the satellite subsystems in collaboration with the satellite and payload manufacturer. Generate reports and support the service manager to close the commissioning phase.
- Define, in collaboration with the satellite and payload manufacturer, the LEOP, commissioning and routine procedures of future missions.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Required Education: Higher education qualification (Vocational/Professional Training) or a BSc degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Aerospace Technology, or a similar field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in operational environments related to technology, computers, and networks.
- Early-Career Opportunity: This role is designed for career-starters who are passionate about the industry, welcoming those with zero to two years of professional experience. A demonstrable interest in this role and the New Space/Telecommunications industry is essential.
- Training: Specific on-the-job training will be provided.
