YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

As UAS Operations & Project Lead, you will take ownership of customer project delivery and operational deployment of Xer’s hybrid UAV systems worldwide. You will coordinate project execution from contract signature to final delivery, ensuring smooth transitions between planning, integration, testing, and customer field deployments. Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end project execution, from sales handover to delivery, ensuring all contractual, technical, and performance objectives are met.
• Planning, coordinating, and executing UAS field operations, including flight campaigns, customer demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Acting as pilot in command or flight operations lead during missions and ensuring all activities meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating internal teams across engineering, production, and operations to align technical, logistical, and scheduling activities.
• Serving as the primary customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining transparent communication and reliable support.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and expertise:

• Education: Degree or equivalent qualification in Aerospace, Mechatronic, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Operational Experience: Proven experience in UAV operations, flight missions, or system deployments; a recognized UAV pilot certification is a strong advantage.
• Project Coordination: Experience planning and coordinating customer projects, including scheduling, communication, and alignment of technical activities.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), mission workflows, and operational safety requirements, ideally in governmental, industrial, or defense environments.
• Hands-On Mindset: Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable solving problems in dynamic field conditions.
• Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English; German is an advantage. Able to communicate effectively with both technical teams and customers.
