You want to actively develop, qualify, and continuously improve materials and manufacturing processes rather than just apply them? You enjoy working at the interface between engineering, manufacturing, and quality, with a clear focus on product quality, cost efficiency, and technological competitiveness? YOUR MISSION

  • Material and Process Development:
    • Plan, conduct, and document experiments for material and process evaluation;
    • Develop and qualify materials and manufacturing processes;
    • Evaluate new materials and technologies as part of innovation and technology scouting activities.
  • Manufacturing Support & Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical support to engineering, production, and quality teams regarding materials and processes;
    • Optimize manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and surface treatment;
    • Implement and support Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
  • Failure Analysis & Process Reliability:
    • Perform and support failure investigations and root cause analysis;
    • Contribute to corrosion protection, cleanliness, and quality assurance measures;
    • Support troubleshooting and release activities.
  • Development & Project Activities:
    • Develop and optimize components with focus on manufacturability;
    • Support development projects and contribute to cost and budgeting activities.
  • Quality, Standards & Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications;
    • Create and maintain technical documentation;
    • Support deviation management and customer-related quality topics.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed technical degree (e.g. Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering) or a comparable qualification;
  • Experience in materials, manufacturing processes, and/or process development;
  • Knowledge of material characterization, process evaluation, and technical documentation;
  • Structured, analytical, and independent working style;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams;
  • Good German and English skills, written and spoken.

Based on your education, qualifications, and professional experience, we offer you an attractive, market-competitive salary. This ranges between EUR 42,000.00, and EUR 70,000.00, gross per year on a full-time basis.
