We are looking for a Senior Space Surveillance (SDA) Systems Engineer with strong experience in systems engineering and technical domains related to space surveillance. The ideal candidate is capable of working with complex system architectures, requirements management, astrodynamics concepts, RF technologies, and data processing algorithms for object detection and tracking in orbit.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, document, manage, and validate system requirements using tools such as DOORS or equivalent;
- Contribute to the definition and understanding of space system architectures, including SDA system components and their interfaces;
- Apply and/or develop algorithms for SDA data processing, including detection, tracking, and object characterization;
- Use astrodynamics principles to support orbit propagation, orbit determination, and related simulations;
- Support software development or integration for real-time systems following aerospace quality standards;
- Perform verification and validation activities at component, subsystem, and system level;
- Contribute to activities related to multiband RF systems design, analysis, or integration;
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for complex systems.

- Requirements engineering (DOORS or equivalent);
- Space system architectures and interfaces, preferably SDA components;
- Data processing for SDA (detection, tracking, characterization);
- Orbital mechanics fundamentals, orbit propagation, and orbit determination (STK, GMAT or similar);
- Development or integration of real-time software systems (C++, Python, or Matlab; version control; aerospace quality standards);
- System-level verification and validation;
