What will you do?

• Coordinate technical groups for design, trade-off analysis, development, and verification of critical subsystems.
• Assess customer and mission needs to define system requirements and ensure compatibility of all interfaces.
• Develop and maintain spacecraft system architecture, ensuring consistency across all subsystems.
• Lead design coherence and verification for:
  • OBDH: operational modes, redundancy, FDIR, data buses, TM/TC.
  • Propulsion: chemical/electric architectures, mission integration, AOCS interfaces.
  • AOCS: sensors, actuators, control algorithms, operational modes.
  • Communication systems: telemetry, telecommand, RF and SDR platforms.
  • Electrical Power Subsystem: applicability and coordination with responsible teams.
• Coordinate cross-discipline activities such as Ground Segment and Flight Operations interfaces.
• Perform trade-off analyses, simulations, and optimization of mass, power, cost, and performance at system level.
• Lead troubleshooting and anomaly resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation: requirements, ICDs, design reviews, and verification plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure spacecraft architecture meets mission requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (PhD is a plus).
• 10+ years of experience in relevant roles within aerospace systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems.
• Experience in technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with MBSE philosophy and ECSS standards.
• Hands-on approach to cross-functional technical issues.
• Fluent English (B2 minimum).
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
