As a (Senior) Software/Software Verification Engineer specializing in safety critical embedded software verification, you will be responsible for performing rigorous testing procedures, ensuring compliance with space industry standards. Your work will contribute to the development of safe, reliable software for spacecraft systems, enhancing overall flight safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures;
• Document test results and ensure traceability for auditing purposes;
• Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of spacecraft software;
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects;
• Ensure all test activities comply with company quality standards;
• Participate in reviews of requirements, design, and implementation documents;
• Prepare and maintain test reports, metrics, and documentation;
• Responsible for ensuring to measuring the code coverage, test coverage.

Profile required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field;
• Proven experience in software testing, specifically within the space or aviation sector;
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and testing methodologies. (ECSS-E-ST-40C, DO-178B/C, ISO-26262);
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong attention to detail and thorough documentation capabilities;
• Strong algorithmic programming, C/C++, and Python skills;
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in testing for Software Verification Engineer;
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in testing for Senior Software Verification Engineer.

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB Advanced Level Certified Software Tester Certificate.
