ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Embedded Digital Electronics Systems Engineer specializing in ASIC and FPGA design, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of digital systems for satellite platforms. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of robust, high-performance, and space-qualified digital solutions that meet stringent industry standards. As a member of an agile project organization, you will be expected to bring a flexible way of working and an adaptive mindset to a dynamic development environment.
As a Senior Embedded Digital Electronics Systems Engineer, you will be responsible to:
- Steer the design, development, verification, and validation of embedded digital systems using ASIC and FPGA technologies for satellite applications requiring high-speed computing capabilities under demanding space constraints;
- Perform and contribute to design and performance trade-off analyses under tightly constrained environment;
- Collaborate with internal and external systems engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to integrate digital electronics within satellite subsystems;
- Review RTL code (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) and contribute to synthesis, timing closure, and implementation flows, as required;
- Perform, monitor and steer, as required, the review of simulation, functional verification, and debugging of digital designs using industry-standard tools;
- Control compliance with space qualification standards and demanding embedded space environment constraints, perform radiation mitigation design reviews and analyses;
- Interface with suppliers, partners, and cross-functional teams to meet project schedules and develop technical solutions meeting the systems objectives.
