    • Communication systems: telemetry, telecommand, RF links, modulation schemes, SDR platforms, antennas, and end-to-end space-ground architecture;
    • OBDH: operational modes, data buses, TM/TC architecture, basic FDIR concepts;
    • EPS (interface level): power budgets and subsystem electrical interfaces;
    • AOCS (interface level): operational modes and subsystem interaction.
  • Perform link budget calculations and support end-to-end communication architecture analysis (space segment to ground segment);
  • Support trade-off analyses related to mass, power, and performance at system level;
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and anomaly resolution under senior supervision;
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation: requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and design documentation.

Required skills, experience and candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related technical field;
  • 2-3 years in spacecraft systems engineering or in key subsystems (EPS, OBDH, Propulsion, or AOCS) or telecommunications satellites;

Experience or knowledge in some of the following areas is required:

  • Telecommunications & Networks:
    • RF communication systems and link budget analysis;
    • TT&C systems;
    • End-to-end communication architectures (space-to-ground);
    • SDR platforms;
    • Antennas and RF subsystems;
    • Communication protocols such as CAN, SpaceWire, Ethernet, RS-4XX.
  • Space systems (basic/intermediate level):
