YOUR MISSION
As a RAMS Engineer, you will support current and upcoming projects throughout all phases of the lifecycle - systems, segments, subsystems, equipment, software, and complex devices - ensuring the highest levels of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety across space solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse and evaluate reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety parameters in space systems.Identify failure modes, risks, and associated effects. Develop, implement, and oversee RAMS plans and strategies.Perform and review RAMS analyses using specialized methodologies, including:
FMEA/FMECA – Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis;
SEECA – SEE Criticality Analysis;
RHA – Radiation Hardening Assurance;
HSIA – Hardware/Software Interaction Analysis;
Outage, Availability & Maintainability Analysis;
FTA – Fault Tree Analysis.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards: ECSS, MIL, EUROCAE, FIDES, among others.Prepare, maintain, and present technical RAMS documentation and reports.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance system engineering.Drive continuous improvement in RAMS methodologies and tools.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
A degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience
Experience in RAMS within the aerospace, defence, or other critical‑systems sectors;
Deep knowledge and practical experience with RAMS methodologies, processes, and tools.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in methodologies such as FHA, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, RBD, SEECA, RHA, HSIA;
Familiarity with ECSS/MIL/EUROCAE/FIDES standards;
Risk management and safety assessment;
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Languages
C1 level of English.
