SW Engineer and Full-stack Web Developer

We are looking for a Full-stack Web Developer with 3 or more years experience in software development, integration, validation and testing to work in EUMETSAT projects.

Foreseen activities include:

• Direct collaboration with users to understand operational needs and translate them into real solutions;
• Prototyping, development, and maintenance of web backends and frontends;
• Contributing to the design and evolution of modern web application architectures;
• Development and integration of REST APIs to connect software systems;
• Supporting DevOps activities, including:
  • Application setup and automation;
  • CI/CD pipelines;
  • Deployment processes.

Requirements/Desired Experience:

• Experience in Full Stack web development;
• Openness to evaluate and adopt different technologies and frameworks;
• Experience with Java, Python, and/or React is highly valued;
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs (e.g. FastAPI or equivalent frameworks);
• Solid DevOps knowledge;
• Familiar with best practices (version control, testing, documentation).

• Comfortable in a diverse international work environment;
• High degree of working autonomy and problem solving skills;
• Very good English communication skills;
• Team-player.
