What do we expect from you?
Completed degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a comparable field;
Basic understanding of digital design concepts;
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming techniques;
A basic level of knowledge in VHDL (preferred)/Verilog;
Familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus) is an advantage but not mandatory;
Eagerness to learn FPGA design and verification methodologies;
A structured, independent and responsible approach to work and a high level of quality awareness;
Familiarity with the use of version control software;
Ability to see how your work fits into a larger project and product and readiness to work with colleagues to achieve its integration;
High level of written English and at least basic fluency in spoken English;
Ideally basic written and verbal ability in German.
What are your responsibilities?
Assist in FPGA design, development, and testing under supervision;
Perform basic design entry, simulation, and debugging tasks;
Collaborate with senior engineers to verify FPGA modules and document processes;
Learn and implement FPGA design best practices;
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement;
Detailed documentation of FPGA development cycles according to ECSS-Q-ST-60 standard.
