Key responsibilities

  • Review and analyze Systems requirements and propose compliant architectures;
  • Design and Implement schematics with detailed analog and digital circuit;
  • Perform design analysis such as Worst-Case Analysis, Derating Analysis and FMEA/FMECA;
  • Review PCB/layout design provided by the team;
  • Perform initial testing and debugging of the CBA, and then complete functional test;
  • Provide technical and official documentation: analysis, technical notes, test plans, test reports;
  • Support Systems, Mechanical, S/W&F/W teams in order to deliver a complete system that meets requirements and project deadlines;
  • Support test competency to establishing automated testing;
  • Manage the team's workload and priorities;
  • Ability to develop the team's skills;
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and implement the expert group's recommendations/design;
  • Ability to implement the CTO's directives at the team level.

Important skills

  • Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium or other);
  • Experience in either RF/FPGA design, small signal, EMC or power electronics;
  • Knowledge in circuit calculation/analysis and simulation (LT Spice);
  • Familiar with Office 365 (Word, PPT, Excel, Ms project…);
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to listen effectively in order to implement continuous improvements in work processes.

Job requirements

  • Strong interest in developing hardware electronics schematics, small signals, high-speed, micro-controllers/FPGA, and low power DC/DC conversion;
  • Knowledge in PCB layout and general laboratory test equipment;
  • Scripting ability to automate tests and report tasks;
  • Completed a least one full development cycle, delivering product compliant with requirements and applicable industry standards;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral;
  • Fluent in English - knowledge of French or German advantageous;
  • Master degree in electronics engineering or equivalent;
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a high-reliability industry; automotive or medical experience is a plus.
