Your mission:

In this exciting position you are responsible for:

• Specifying, designing and verifying satellite onboard electronics as well as related test systems
• Defining the system topology, performing the functional decomposition (HW, SW, FPGA) and compiling the system-level requirements
• Performing and/or supporting the related analysis (electrical, radiation, reliability, thermal, mechanical) on system level
• Active collaboration with and support of other teams and departments to ensure best possible trade-offs in terms of performance, schedule, budget, design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test
• Actively contributing to improvements of the products, processes, methods and tools

Your Story

• Master’s degree in electrical design engineering or equivalent education
• Preferably 5+ years’ experience in electrical (system) design and analysis
• You are passionate for your design and feel responsible to get it working reliably in a harsh environment
• You are confident in taking technical decisions with the right balance between cost, time, quality, and performance
• You have a collaborative and creative mindset, share know-how and solve problems together in the team
• You like to expand your horizon and to adapt to new technologies and ways of working in a global organization
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
