You will also lead the processing and interpretation of test data. The decisions you make will directly support the qualifications of flight hardware and will play a key role in guiding design choices, ultimately enhancing the performance and reliability of our systems.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

  • Performing vibroacoustic analysis throughout the vehicle in the launch and ascent phases of the flight to obtain vibroacoustic environments for vehicle components, as well as payload compartment.
  • Being responsible for vibroacoustic instrumentation, including selection of the sensors, selection of the location and documentation.
  • Vibroacoustic data processing from analysis, tests or flight and creation of environmental test specs.
  • Supporting ground shock tests, modal tests, vibration tests including test planning, instrumentation selection etc.
  • Being responsible for vibration & shock isolator selection and any other applicable vibration reduction means and supporting the validation tests of the designs.
  • Managing qualification status of the units for vibration and shock. Test tailoring for avionics and propulsion equipment and managing mechanical loads documentation for FTS, RTS and other units, supporting environmental compliance analysis utilizing comparative damage analysis, qualification by analysis/similarity studies and reducing the number of vibration and shock tests.
  • Performing normal modes, frequency response, random response, shock response and coupled load analyses by FE codes (such as Optistruct, Nastran or similar) as well as construction of FE models (in Hypermesh or Simcenter).

Qualification Checklist
