As a Senior System Test & Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and documenting system test and verification activities for advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). You will work closely with System Engineering, Certification, Flight Testing, and Mission Engineering teams to ensure system-level compliance, robustness, and mission readiness.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Plan System test level & Verification following requirements defined by System Engineering Team and ensure full traceability across the lifecycle;
  • Develop test documentation: Verification Plans, System Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Readiness Reviews, and Test Reports;
  • Develop and maintain Test Benches, including software (apps and embedded) to enable feasibility testing and system validation;
  • Prepare and execute Verification & Validation (V&V) campaigns for UAS systems, subsystems, and full-aircraft testing;
  • Conduct Ground and Flight test preparation activities, including instrumentation, test configuration, and safety documentation;
  • Coordinate system testing & verification at accredited laboratories;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and test standards, including (EU) 2019/945, EN 4709 series, MILSTD810, MILSTD461, and relevant STANAGs (e.g., 4703, 4866–4868);
  • Apply recognized industry guidance such as ARP4754A/B and ARP4761 in the development and safety assessment processes;
  • Support certification evidence generation and work with authorities as required;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent verification strategies;
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.

What you bring to the team:

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with UAS verification preparation and execution (system tests, environmental tests, ground/flight tests);
  • A1–A3 and A2 UAS pilot certificates are a plus. Radio License is a plus;
  • Solid knowledge of digital and analog electronics and embedded systems;
  • Strong understanding of system engineering V-model, verification methodologies, and test campaign planning;
  • Experience with test instrumentation, data logging, and analysis tools;
  • Knowledge in LabView and Proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, MATLAB, C#);
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion, JAMA) and version control systems;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus. Excellent proficiency to write technical documentation in English;
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
