Your Mission:

  • Manage and support the full development lifecycle of customer-specific mechanical products - from proposal preparation, concept development, design, simulation, and analysis through (prototype) assembly, testing, and final delivery.
  • Develop mechanical systems for mechanical ground support equipment (e.g., transport containers, handling tools, lifting devices) and space applications, including satellite mechanisms (e.g., deployment devices, steering mechanisms).
  • Create 3D concepts and perform preliminary sizing and design in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional specialists in design, analysis, assembly, and testing throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain direct communication with customers during development projects.
  • Review technical drawings and bills of materials prior to release for manufacturing.
  • Coordinate and support suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
  • Plan, execute, and support acceptance and qualification testing.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation in English.

Your Story:

  • 3+ years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
  • Strong technical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and structured, goal-oriented working style.
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems; knowledge of FEM/analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams.

  • High level of initiative, organizational skills, and customer orientation.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and manage tasks independently.
