About the role

As a Project Manager you will lead complex space-related projects (satellite systems, power distribution) from concept to delivery, within a demanding and evolving environment. You combine strong project management capabilities with a solid engineering understanding to drive hardware development projects in line with ESA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex space projects (satellite/power systems), from design to qualification and production;
• Act as main customer interface, ensuring strong stakeholder alignment (clients, ESA, suppliers);
• Manage project performance (scope, budget, timeline, quality) and ensure compliance with ESA standards;
• Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies in a dynamic project environment;
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners;
• Oversee contract, change, and reporting processes.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced professional who can handle complex development projects, ideally involving both hardware and software components.

• Master’s degree in engineering (preferably aerospace or related);
• 4–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in complex technical environments;
• Mandatory: experience in space or aerospace projects (hardware-focused);
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle in R&D environments;
• Experience with contract and change management;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Resilient, structured, and able to operate in a challenging and evolving environment;
• Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch are a plus).
