What is the role?

As a Head of Product Аssurance you will oversee all aspects of product assurance for our space systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to manage risk assessments, technology development, critical materials, and supplier collaboration, ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and missions throughout their lifecycle.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Product Assurance function, aligning with EnduroSat's goals and objectives. Lead and mentor a team of Product Assurance Engineers and other professionals;
• Industry Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards, such as ECSS and NASA GEVS standards, and maintain rigorous documentation to uphold the quality and reliability of our products;
• Quality Assurance Processes: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance processes and procedures specific to space product development;
• Risk Management: Manage risk assessment activities to identify potential issues affecting product and mission quality, reliability, and safety. Support risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle;
• Supplier Collaboration and Audits:Foster strong relationships with suppliers and conduct audits to verify compliance with industry standards and company requirements. Ensure the quality of materials, components, modules, and subsystems;
• Configuration Management:Support configuration management activities to ensure proper control and documentation of changes to all equipment and mission portfolios;
• Testing and Inspection Oversight:Manage testing and inspections at various stages of the spacecraft system lifecycle, including R&D, integration, and launch. Collaborate with testing facilities for environmental testing;
• Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality, reliability, and performance of the spacecraft systems;
• Launch and Mission Support:Provide support during launch campaigns and mission operations to address quality or reliability concerns.

What do we look for?

• Proven experience in a senior product assurance role, with a deep understanding of space systems and technologies;
• Strong knowledge of space industry standards, such as ECSS and NASA GEVS;
• Extensive experience with risk management and supplier collaboration in the context of space products;
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and external partners;
• Hands-on experience in space product assurance and an understanding of space environment challenges;
• A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
