Your Tasks

  • Lead, support and develop the mechanical systems team for the trainer aircraft;
  • Organise and manage all the projects within the team to ensure they meet the customer requirements, on time and on budget;
  • Work with, and manage a large number of mechanical vendors to ensure timely delivery and appropriate solutions to emerging issues;
  • Lead the development of new mechanical systems for our products as defined in the budget, and addressing emerging obsolescence issues;
  • Work with business unit and suppliers to identify future opportunities for the trainer aircraft in support of the roadmap to keep them ahead of our competitors.

With this you convince us

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with 10+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical systems and at least 5 years working on Pilatus aircraft;
  • Proven project management expertise and strong practical experience in the implementation and continuous improvement of engineering processes and products;
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally managing large multicultural, multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams, with the ability to inspire and develop others;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of understanding complex technical challenges and communicating solutions clearly to both technical teams and senior management;
  • Dynamic, proactive, and customer-focused professional with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Highly adaptable and forward-thinking, able to balance competing priorities, drive strategic direction and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
