What You Will Do:

• Conduct supplier assessments, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes.
• Analyze quality data and recommend solutions for part- and supplier-specific quality issues, including corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving (e.g., using Red-X & 8D) in escape management procedures. Develop corrective and preventive actions for systemic process and product design issues from suppliers.
• Manage supplier qualification/certification processes, oversee source inspections and material release, and lead corrective action boards and DQ Clinics with suppliers.
• Review processes and metrics to ensure supplier readiness for work transfers and process changes, including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
• Travel periodically to suppliers' locations in the Northern and Midwestern areas of the U.S.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a supply chain operations environment (e.g., monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with quality regulations and quality tools.
• Experience with PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external executives and employees.
• Ability to adapt and utilize a variety of communication styles to influence and persuade stakeholders to support ideas and proposals.
• Experience with problem-solving and escape management techniques.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma).
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience in conducting manufacturing process reviews.
