    The Analyst M&A is responsible for developing business cases and valuation analyses, supporting inorganic investment & acquisition recommendations to Management. Operationally, he/she works closely with the Manager, M&A.


    - Develop and maintain business case models that supports evaluation of various SES development opportunities, in terms of strategic fit, market assessment, risks assessment, valuation and financials

    - Support the team in identifying global development opportunities in line with SES strategic plan objectives

    - Support cross-functional teams involved in those opportunities assessments when required, and support end-to-end preparation of presentations & recommendations to Senior Management

    - Support the team during due diligences of merger and acquisition targets

    - Develop new methodologies and tools as required to help the team

    - Provide ad-hoc assistance to other SES departments as required, in business planning and investment case evaluation

    Experience / Qualifications

    - University educated or equivalent in a relevant field (Finance), with a Masters degree in Business being an additional asset

    - Some understanding of the telecommunications and multimedia industry. Knowledge of the satellite technology / business landscape is a strong plus

    - Minimum 2 years of working experience

    - Interest for modeling and data analytics with good knowledge of Excel

    - Readiness to learn and understand aspects of SES operations and business

    - Ability to work effectively with team members

    - Strong communications skills and team spirit

    - Strong analytical & judgment skills

    - Strong sense of initiative and autonomy at work

    - Fluency in English. Other languages considered an asset
