    HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Project Product Assurance Manager to support our customer in the Netherlands.

    Project Product Assurance Manager

     

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities                 

    Our customer is providing innovative high-tech solutions to the international space community. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities:

    • Defining, refining and implementing the Product Assurance/Quality processes within the company;
    • Responsibility for establishing the roadmap to achieve ISO9001/AS9100;
    • Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety;
    • Reviewing customer requirements to ensure that they can be/are being met
    • Preparation of project product assurance documentation, e.g. PA & Safety Plans
    • Preparation and management of RFD/RFW’s, NCR’s and participation in NRB/MRB’s
    • Participation in formal customer reviews (Design & Test related)
    • Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
    • Perform or co-ordinate internal audits (product and process) and manage any corrective actions
    • Interact with customers and suppliers in Quality/Product Assurance matters
    • Participate in bid/proposal preparations

     

    Skills & Experience

    You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

    • Engineer (Degree level) with 4+ years of experience in Product Assurance disciplines;
    • Experience in defining and implementing ISO9001/AS9100 compliant Product/Quality Assurance processes and procedures ;
    • Experience within the space domain with a working knowledge of ESA ECSS development and quality standards (for ground and/or flight product applications);
    • Experience in the domain of electronic system development  (hardware/firmware and software)
    • Have strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Have experience in interacting with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers
    • Experience in supporting the Engineering Teams and have a proactive attitude towards solving problems
    • Experience in configuration management (documentation, hardware, software, etc)
    • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
