    At Vitrociset we do critical systems for ground segments. We operate in the Aerospace, Defence, and Homeland security sectors. Customers are institutional agencies, MoD, large system integrators and spacecraft operators. Headquartered in Italy, the company has branches in Belgium, French Guyana, Kenya, Turkey as well as permanent establishments in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. Revenues amount to 200M€ and Vitrociset employs an average of 1,000 people.

    - You will join the project team of Toulouse, France, to participate in the implementation of major contracts related to EGS-CC (ESA European Ground Systems Common Core)
    - You will do software development and your mission will be to support the Project Manager in the implementation, execution, and reporting of the contract
    - In parallel, you will assist and advise the Site Manager of Toulouse for the development and execution of the business in France, providing him with your technical expertise in software engineering and on Vitrociset software.

    - Participation in projects: write software specifications; analyse, design and produce technical architecture; implement/test software systems; maintain and support existing software; write technical documents and reports at all stages of the software development process
    - Support to the Site Manager: risk analysis of opportunities; write technical proposals (English and French); costing; actively participate in negotiations; run projects as needed.

    Preferred education and experience:
    - Engineering master in software
    - At least 3 years of experience in software and in space or defence sectors
    - English mandatory (day-by-day working language), French appreciated, Italian is a strong asset
    - Interest in technologies, capacity/interest in management (autonomy, level of independence/decision making, ability to work in a changing environment, team spirit, talent for making complex ideas accessible…), and business development (relationship/negotiations with customers, partners…)
    - Position based in Toulouse, with frequent travel
    - Position requiring to be eligible for a security clearance
    - Position requiring to work extended hours, with on-call, as needed
