Responsibilities/ Duties /Tasks
SW Engineer (or equivalent) working in GMV’s offices at Toulouse in the developing of ground infrastructure for CNES (French Space Agency).
Among other functions, the candidate will be in charge of:
- Analysing and solving problems in applications (mostly but not only Java-based) of the fight dynamics and space debris domains (orbit propagation, manoeuvres computation, orbit determination, re-entry analysis…) such as:
o Data persistence
o Development environment (Eclipse, plug-ins, maven,…)
o Parallel processing
- Providing a first-level support to the client.
- Designing, developing and validating new functionalities in already existing or in new applications of the above-mentioned domains to match the client’s needs.
- Updating or creating the technical documentation (installation manual, user manual, design document…)
The candidate will be part of a Project team, reporting directly to the Project manager. The candidate will be part of the Flight Dynamics and Operations Business Unit, in the Institutional Projects Division.
Qualifications: Computer engineer o equivalent
Java Technologies (maven, Eclipse IDE, …)
Algorithm analysis and development
Data persistance (EMF, POJO, data bases)
Other languages : C, C++, Fortran 90/95
