    Context
    SES is implementing a new satellite program in conjunction with strategic aeronautical partners to provide high-speed data connectivity to commercial airline and maritime customers. This new program will enable the SES Mobility Market Solutions Center (MSC) to set a new standard in mobile data connectivity, and deliver “home equivalent” media and broadband experiences to passengers at sea and in the air.
    The incumbent has the primarily responsibility to harmonize and manage all requirements surrounding the implementation of major SES HTS satellite programs in support of the Data Mobility MSC and its customers.

    In the post sales process he/she will have a leadership role in managing key customer accounts, interacting with customers, providing products and services as per executed contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting additional services as he/she anticipates. In addition, the candidate is responsible for any third party procurement relationship required for the execution of MSC aeronautical, maritime and Oil & Gas contracts.

     

    Responsibilities
    *  Act as Program Manager by leading, managing and executing all the proposal efforts to support new Data Mobility contracts: traffic simulation, link budgets, spectrum analysis, financial simulation, ground infrastructure, vendor selection/negotiation, satellite design/capability definition, business planning, contracts design
    * Responsible for the order fulfilment of all mobility contracts/programs with key customers
    * Execute on all post-sales and contract signature customers’ requirements
    * Liaise in a support capacity with third party partners (space infrastructure, teleports, new platforms and other elements of the value chain including antennas, modems, wave form suppliers, IP connectivity) in the frame of those contract fulfilments 
    * Cross-functional coordination to ensure the products/services are on time, on cost and on quality
    * Provide product training and awareness to regional sales teams for Data Mobility solutions

    Experience / Qualifications
    *  Master Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. Engineering Degree shall ideally complemented by an IP Network certification (CCNA or equivalent)
    * 10 + years’ professional experience in the Data Mobility industry, in areas such as proposal management, program management and after-sales
    * Demonstrated experience in designing, rolling out and continuous improvement of fulfillment capabilities in Data Mobility products
    * Advanced IP Networking skills: network design/architecture, network engineering, network operations and management, routing and switching, VOIP, QoS firewalls, servers
    * Excellent analytical/evaluation skills and understanding of business models, financial analysis, including valuation and detailed P&L
    * Deep knowledge of satellite systems engineering with high level understanding of technical impact on operational effectiveness (capacity allocation flexibility, transponder value, fill rate optimization, link budgeting, RF coordination)
    * Solid understanding of HTS technology and satellite ground equipment
    * Proven ability to work with Data Mobility customers and key stakeholders
    * Fluency in English. French, German, Spanish and other languages are considered as additional assets
