    CAM Space  supports the Galileo project since the year 2000 and has a very strong presence of engineers at the Galileo Control Centre near Munich in Oberpfaffenhofen and at the Spaceopal Headquarters in Munich. We are now reinforcing our team in the Munich area. We are looking for you as

    Galileo CADM Engineer (m/f)

    Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in an outstanding project in the area of satellite navigation? This could be your field of responsibility:

    •   Become a member of the Spaceopal Team (Spaceopal is the main contractor for operational services for Galileo)

    •   Support the ILS and CADM Management in developing and maintaining CADM related documentation, processes and procedures

    •   Participate to Configuration Control Boards, document/trace status of Change Requests and Board decisions, partly chair CCBs and/or act as secretary to the CCB chair

    •   Follow-up / sort-out problems related to the processing of CCRs (input/output)

    •   Perform quality checks , monitor the correct usage / status tracking of CCRs in centralized tools and trigger corrections/updates in case of issues

    •   Support the preparing and review of CADM related reports

    •   Support the development and maintenance of the Product- and Configuration Item Tree and underlying configuration item attributes/data

    •   Support the review and handover of configuration items/assets to the project from external parties

    •   Support the execution of CADM audits

    •   Ensure consistency of asset records and status within centralized tool/database

    •   Liaise with relevant PoC at subcontractor level

    •   Regular travels to the Galileo Control Centres in Oberpfaffenhofen and Fucino

    Your profile requires

    •   Appropriate University degree or similar level of education

    English fluent plus one additional language (German or Italian)

    •   Used to work target oriented, good organisational skills (time management, efficiency, dealing with parallel issues, work under stress etc.)

    •   Commitment and conscientiousness, customer orientation, good communication skills

    •   Experienced in Configuration Management disciplines and underlying data/information handling (Structures, Baseline Management etc.)

    •   Experiences related to standardisation and quality reviews/audits

    •   Experiences in ICT technical infrastructure (Hardware and Software) and maintenance concepts/levels

    •   Good software skills, related to general software design/setup, configuration concepts

    •   Experienced in using office tools (WORD, EXCEL etc.)

    •   Familiar with Configuration Management standards/best-practices (e.g. ITIL, ECSS etc.)

    •   EU citizenship

    In addition the following experiences are considered as an asset

    •   Experience in European space projects
