For various European locations we are looking for Space Software Engineers/Experts . Depending on the tasks the positions may be based in Toulouse (FR), Portsmouth (UK), Oberpfaffenhofen (DE, near Munich) or Fucino (IT).
We are looking for several Software Engineers for the SCISYS SPACE Division to join our growing team working on the Galileo project.
Involvement in Galileo software projects (system architecture, implementation, organisation, documentation, testing).
Design and implementation of individual software components.
Evolution and maintenance of existing software modules.
On-site support to our clients and partners in various disciplines.
Depending on the role, expert support in subjects like IT security; virtualisation; network management & security; software testing, verification & Validation.
University degree in Software Engineering or similar discipline.
Strong knowledge in common technologies such as Java, XML, C/C++, GIT, SQL and scripting languages.
Knowledge in network technologies and operating systems (Linux).
Depending on the role, expert knowledge in IT security; virtualisation; network management & security; software testing, verification & Validation.
Fluency in English; knowledge in French or Italian, depending on work Location, is desirable.
Ability and willingness to have a medium to long term stay in another European country (some positions may require a move at certain phases of the project).
Open and structured problem solving approach.
Willingness and initiative to get familiarised with new technologies.
Start dates are flexible, depending on availabilty of candidates.
