    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Responsibilities/ Duties /Tasks

    Activities will include the definition of planning domains for several robotic scenarios, the use and extension of planning algorithms, and the participation in the design and implementation of an autonomous planning framework, able to be used for dynamic replanning in real-time.

    Candidate will be involved also in discussions and negotiations with partners in technical matters. Participation in the elaboration of bids is also required. Candidate will also be available to travel frequently. Participation in the elicitation of requirements, design and testing, and the documentation associated to these activities will also be part of the job.

    Qualifications: Masters Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Telecomunications or Aerospace Engineering

    Required knowledge:

    Autonomous planning and planning systems

    Planning languages ( PDDL/NDDL or similar )

    Space and robotic systems

    C/C++

    English ( negotiation skills )

    Space Standards for Development (ECSS)

    Desirable Knowledge:

    Model-driven architectures

    Space Systems Robotics and robot systems

    Space Grade processor and buses

    Linux

    Development Environment
