    Job Description

    esc Aerospace is looking for specialists in the field of FPGA development, hardware design and hardware programming, for in-house projects and for customers within EU countries.


    Required skill set:

    * experience with FPGA and VHDL

    * knowledge of ESA ECSS developments standards

    * fluent in English, both written and spoken

    * knowledge of communication workflow in FPGA, such as TM and TC, PUS, etc.

    * experience with signal processing and finite state machines

    * adavanced technical writing / documentation skills

    * knowledge of formal project processes, waterfall or agile methods

    * knowledge of programming languages for microcontrollers, C or Ada

    * knowledge of EMC relation to HW designer

    * MATLAB knowledge is an asset

    * knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, is advantageous


    Scope of work:

    * prototype development, programming, testing, qualification

    * consultation with SCH and PCB designers

    * writing and further maintenance of technical documents

    * team work

    * fulfilling coding standards, cooperation with Product Assurance team

    * calculations, simulations and optimization of functional logic blocks



    * esc Aerospace premisses in Prague

    * premisses of esc Aerospace’s customers in various EU locations, either full collocation for several months, or for a few weeks abroad and a few weeks in Prague
