    CGI Space Netherlands is looking for a Software Asset Management Consultant to join our client based locations in Spain and France. 

    Your day to day activities 
    As a Software Asset Management Consultant you are responsible for the effective implementation of the software assets management process. Maintaining and updating the Software Asset Management (SAM) databases (such as system configuration, pipeline of software procurement batches covering renewals, new purchases and license terms repository) and schedules in line with the renewal process. Produce consolidated operational reports and supporting documents and technical notes. 

    Things you need to be successful 
    You are keen to contribute to our Space projects . You have good social, communication and presentation skills. You are proactive, have advanced analytic skills and are a quick learner. You also have: 
    • A relevant Bachelor or Master degree; 
    • Hands-on IT software skills, demonstrated by at least 2 years of experience in a similar   role; 
    • At least 1 year of Software Asset Management (SAM) experience in a similar role; 
    • Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and oral); Spanish and/or French language skills are desirable; 
    • Good client facing skills / Interpersonal Skills; 
    • EU passport. 

    ** Eligibility for an EU Personal Security Clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL and above is part of the selection procedure. 

    Your working environment 
    With almost 40 years in the industry, CGI Space is a growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Security, Earth Observation and Satcoms domains. We currently have around 500 members working on projects in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. You will get the opportunity to work for Galileo. Galileo is Europe’s own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites. It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control. The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase. Our team is responsible for the development of the Key Management Facility of the Galileo Mission Segment. 

    Your main base office will be located in Rotterdam and you will be working on our client based location in France or Spain.
