    GMV is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to be located in Toulouse and will be part of a team developing the SSA (Space Situation Awarness) infrastructure for CNES (French Space Agency).

     

    Key responsabilities

    ·         Analyzing and solving problems in Java based applications of the flight dynamics and space debris domains (orbit propagation, maneuvers compulation, orbit determination, re-entry analysis...)

    ·         Designing, developing and validating new functionalities in already existing or in new applications of the above-mentioned domains to match client's needs

    ·         Updating or creating the technical documentation (intallation manual, user manual, design document...)

    ·         Providing a first-level support to the client

    Academic Degree: Master's Degree for Software Engineering or equivalent

    Level of English: Advanced 

    Java and Java technologies (maven, Eclipse IDE) / Advanced

    Parallel processing / Advanced

    Algorithm analysis and development

     

    It would be great if you also have knowledge/experience in:

    Eclipse RCP

    Data persistance (EMF, POJO, data bases)

    Other languages: C, C++, Fortran 90/95

    Applied Maths and Physics

    Flight Dynamics

    Knowledge of French would be an asset
