Your day to day activities
As a Security Support you will support the SecMon activities operated on the site. Your main activities will be: collaborating in the creation and validation of incident handling procedures for nominal and crisis scenarios, resolution of security incidents requesting ARB decisions, support the Security Operational Intelligence Facility implementation roadmap and its validation activities, support SecMon LEOP preparation and execution, support the local staff in strengthening the operations and in understanding of the system configuration, and other related activities.
Things you need to be successful
You are motivated by the opportunity to work within the Space domain. You have good interpersonal skills and perfect communication skills in English, speaking and writing. You also have:
• A relevant Bachelor or Master degree;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in practical INFOSEC security (e.g. network security device administration, user security management, incident response, etc.);
• Experience in drafting operational procedures related to root cause investigation and troubleshooting technical issues;
• Experience in performing validation of operational procedures;
• Preferably professional certifications (i.e. CISSP, GIAC);
• Preferably experience in crisis management;
• Preferably drafting skills (i.e. reports of activity);
• EU passport.
** A EU Personal Security Clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL and above is part of the selection procedure.
Your working environment
With almost 40 years in the industry, CGI Space is a growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Security, Earth Observation and Satcoms domains. We currently have around 500 members working on projects in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. You will get the opportunity to work for Galileo. Galileo is Europe’s own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites. It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control. The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase. Our team is responsible for the development of the Key Management Facility of the Galileo Mission Segment.
Your main base office will be located in Rotterdam and you will be working on our client based location in France or Spain.
