Aerospace Engineer Orion - Technical Authority for Thermal Control System (d/f/m)
Be part at the heart of human´s return to the Moon. In your role you will join a multifunctional team which takes care of the E2E delivery of the Thermal Control Subsystem (TCS) for the Orion European Service Module.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Technical coordination of subcontractors incl. the change and non-conformance processing, document review and support of acceptance for thermal subsystems
Act as technical lead for the TCS and perform the related engineering activities
Flow down the requirements defined on spacecraft system level
Ensure that the TCS meets the performance requirements
Accompany through the production cycle (from manufacturing readiness review to acceptance Review)
Act as test director for the thermal control system during the AIT phase
Contribute to continuous improvements
Desired skills and qualifications
Master degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Extensive knowledge in Space Systems, System Engineering and Thermal Engineering
Experience in collaboration with different stakeholders
Strong communication skill and assertiveness
Ability to deal with complexity
Business fluent in English is a must and profound German skills are desired
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
