Main tasks and responsabilities
- Design and specifications of control systems and algorithms for mechatronic systems both at guidance and navigation level as at low level (stabilization, actuator control...).
- Selection of sensors and actuators for control systems.
- Integration, processing and sensor fusion.
- Test support: development of test benches, test and integration campaigns, tuning and analysis of controllers.
- Development of new architectures, products and solutions.
- Design and testing of PCBs.
- FW coding in C, primarily.
- Development of technical documentation.
Required skills
- University degree/master's in aeronautics, electronics, robotics or similar.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in control systems design.
- Experience in C programming.
- Advanced english proficiency is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.
Preferred skills
- Experience in the design and analysis of aerial platforms and their control systems (UAV).
- Programming and implementation of control systems on embedded systems (ARM architecture).
- Knowledge of computer vision.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Experience with measurement systems is a plus.
- Desirable previous experience in the defence sector.
