YOUR MISSION

• Perform safety assessments on different system levels (including e.g. FTA, FHA, FMEA and FMECA).
• Review supplier documents.
• Manage safety related requirements and traceability from high levels to subsystems and components (including regulatory-, human factor- and environmental requirements).
• Perform and review Reliability Assessments.
• Coordinate activities with external suppliers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members of an agile team in meeting program objectives.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team - with certification, software, hardware and flight testing teams.
• Assume responsibility for the documentation, validation and verification of the safety process for the authorization by the aviation authority.

YOUR PROFILE

• Engineering degree (ideally software engineering, electrical engineering or aviation engineering).
• 3+ years of professional experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with systems engineering according to ARP4754A and ARP4761.
• Experience in requirements management and RM-Tools.
• Experience with safety analysis tools.
• Knowledge of system development processes according certification aspects are a strong advantage.
• Experience with agile development of aviation systems.
• Knowledge of development and certification standards, RTCA DO 160, DO 254, DO 178, is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Independent and solution-oriented thinking and acting on own responsibility.
