Your missions and responsibilities will be as follows:
As part of the development of its launcher, Sirius Space Services is looking to recruit a Mission Analysis & Simulation Engineer for June 2024. This position will be based in the Mission Analysis team.
- Study of different configurations and modeling of flight scenarios for launch into space orbit;
- Optimization of trajectories and performance of the SIRIUS launcher range;
- Compatibility study/analysis with satellite manufacturers;
- Development of internal Mission Analysis tools;
- Participation in flight backup studies;
- Drafting of technical specifications;
- Drafting of associated technical documentation.
We are looking for collaborators who invest and adapt themselves quickly:
- Graduate engineer or Master's degree, specializing in aerospace, with 2 to 5 years' previous experience in Mission Analysis;
- Proficiency in ASTOS trajectory optimization software or equivalent preferred;
- You have already participated in the development of trajectographic study and/or optimization software (3DoF & 6DoF);
- Matlab Simulink skills;
- Python skills would be a plus;
- General knowledge of launchers appreciated and recommended;
- Ability to work in a team and independently, proactive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Your level of English enables you to communicate, interpret and write technical documentation.
