We are expanding our team in the Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM) sector to take on new projects.

SST and STM are becoming a more and more relevant topic in the space sector due to the need to manage the traffic of the population of objects orbiting the Earth, both space debris and operational satellites, which is growing currently and is expected to increase even more dramatically due to the launch of mega-constellations.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you would work on specific projects related to SST as a software engineer. You would take care of SST activities at European level and in Germany, both for the development of SST systems and the execution of studies. Your main tasks would be:

• Software development in either side of the system: backend and on the frontend;
• Daily operations of satellites: ranging from the orbit determination of space debris objects to the analysis of potential collision avoidance maneuvers.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for software engineers with background and interest in Space Surveillance and Tracking. If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have previous experience and knowledge in:

• Software programming in C++, Java and Python.

We will also value previous experience and knowledge in:

• Spring Boot;
• Swagger;
• Open API;
• Space Debris;
• Systems engineering.
