Work closely with Company Program Manager for:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in engineering, science, or a related technical field as well as 10 or more years of progressively complex program administration experience with at least 4 of those years managing programs;
  • Typically requires six or more year’s prior experience as an engineer (e.g. EE, ME, SW, etc.);
  • Design, develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS);
  • Apply principles of project management developing large, complex schedules;
  • Perform program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances;
  • Build and maintain a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables from vendors and Government sources;
  • Monitor vendor schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances;
  • Understand and has a facility with enterprise-level scheduling software;
  • Previous experience developing and transitioning mid-level TRL technologies, from concept inception through design, build, and verification testing;
  • Leading both Internal Research & Design (IR&D) efforts or contracted programs;
  • Experience as a supervisor of direct reports, clear understanding of project or systems engineer;
  • Previous experience as a Chief Engineer and experience as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on a development effort;
  • Previous experience as voting member of a Change Control Board (CCB) or a Engineering Review Board (ERB) or as a signatory for engineering drawing release and/or change authorization;
  • Prioritizes, plans, schedules and follows up on the accuracy of the job plan for all planned work through proactive work productivity optimization;
  • Reviews all planned work requests and determines the validity and accuracy of the information and engages the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority;
  • Reviews the work to be performed and determines the best way to accomplish the work;
  • Actively participates in scheduling meetings with operation planners to finalize priority of work orders, optimize downtime windows, and necessary lead times;
  • Identifies work requiring engineering design and reviews them with Engineering;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum, masters preferred;
  • Extensive Jira knowledge;
  • Immediate python programming;
  • BI dashboard building experience preferred;
  • MS Project and other project management tools knowledge;
  • Master skill level with MS Office package;
  • 10+ years of experience.
