Responsibilities

Procurement:

  • Managing a purchasing process, from PO request, through internal approval process to goods receipt.
  • Evaluate suppliers, negotiate purchasing, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage purchasing in line with the aerospace standards.

Delivery Management:

  • Coordinate the shipment of products to customers and customs procedures.
  • Liaise with logistics partners to facilitate timely and secure delivery of goods.
  • Handle all documentation required for international shipments, including complying with export control requirements and customs declarations.
  • Support both intercompany, supply chain and customer deliveries.

Inventory Management:

  • Setup and maintain the local warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring alignment with planning function in the global operations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory management standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory.

Export Control:

  • Responsibility over export control logistics aspects including executing by procedures and legislation.
  • Resolve all manner of export shipping queries/issues with commitment that the best solution is adopted and delivered.

Reporting and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the global supply chain team on inventory, logistics, procurement, and all other supply chain issues.
  • Collaborate with UK cross-functional teams, including engineering and finance, to support company objectives and initiatives.

Requirements

  • B Sc./Practical Engineering degree in Industrial engineering.
  • 5+ years of Procurement/Logistics experience in technology systems companies.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, and international logistics standards (Incoterms).
  • Proficiency in inventory management procedures (including inventory counts).
  • Knowledge/Experience in NetSuite – Advantage.
  • Personal skills:
    • Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
